SOMETHING IS ALIVE.
Welcome to a world where digital characters become something more.
Every character has a story. Every collection reveals another piece of the universe.
The world of 3DCEASED is only beginning.
The
scent of damp pine and swamp muck hung heavy over the Blackwood highway as the
midnight carriage approached.
In
the shadows of the canopy of trees, eight pairs of eyes, 4 on each side of the
dirt highway, tracked the glowing lanterns approaching them.
Four men and four women, bound not by blood but by a shared hunger for coin,
waited in absolute silence.
They
were an unlikely assembly of outcasts, but in a century plagued by shifting
borders and rising shadows, they were the best gold could buy.
At least for the moment anyway.
Tabitha,
the groups reluctantly agreed upon leader drew her whetted broad sword quietly
from its scabbard, its steel humming with a faint noise, a violet luminescence
glowing in the darkness.
Beside
her, Erin adjusted the heavy Wheelock pistol he’d had strapped to his chest
before drawing it for use, his gaze fixed on the dense fog ahead where the
highwaymen usually hid.
A
blood-curdling screech shattered the night. It wasn't the bandits. A flock of
harpies, lured by the scent of travelers on the road, dove from the mist with
talons outstretched to attack the carriage causing an unexpected flurry of
action on the road.
Derrick
grinned, drawing his long sword from his back scabbard as Cocoa gripped her
staff, the yellow crystal wrapped tightly in the twisted top of the white oak
staff flaring into a blinding, golden radiance.
And
with a collective nod, the eight surged forward into the moonlight, racing for
the fracus already underway.
Bandit
steel and monster claws mattered little tonight; the road belonged to them, and
they intended to collect their toll in silver.
