July 2025: The Search for a New Home
The foundations of 3DCeased were born out of necessity and a complete pivot in digital landscape. In July of 2025, after completely removing a lifetime of personal artwork from DeviantArt, a search for a new platform to display and market the work led to an unfamiliar digital frontier: Discord.
At the time, the concepts of crypto, Web3, and community servers were entirely foreign. Social media use had previously been reserved for factual, political counter-arguments—dismantling misinformation and fabricated narratives online. Stepping into this new space required an intense, overnight masterclass in entirely new technologies, from setting up digital wallets to understanding the distinct architectures of various blockchains.
The Architecture of the Sandbox
Driven by the need for a central "home base" for the artwork, construction began on a baseline Discord server. Originally hosted under a personal name, this initial server served as a testing ground to understand Discord's structural architecture.

During these early days, the creative output was beautifully chaotic, spanning across multiple genres:
- Fantasy Artistry: Mythical and conceptual visual pieces.
- Engineering Work: Technical and structured digital designs.
- Short Story "Clips": Narrative fragments that hinted at deeper lore.
The server quickly doubled as a tactical communications hub for pilots navigating the deep space of EVE Online. At this point, 3DCeased wasn't even a star in the sky; it was simply a digital workshop and a place to converse with gaming allies.
261030: The Catalyst
The turning point arrived on October 30, 2026.
A stray visitor—entirely separate from the established circle of gaming buddies—stumbled into the server. Captivated by the chaotic gallery of images and driven by a sharp ambition to build something profitable, they reached out. That single conversation sparked a realization: it was time to build something much larger than a personal archive.
Work on the official 3DCeased server began that very day. Without the arrival of that specific member, the project as it exists today would likely not exist at all.
The Foundation Credo
Navigating those turbulent early days yielded a sharp, unvarnished piece of cultural truth that remains embedded in the project’s DNA.
In a landscape filled with rapid changes, hype, and digital facades, a foundational credo was learned quickly and permanently:
"EVERYBODY LIES."
With that reality check firmly in mind, Phase 01 concluded, and the true construction of 3DCeased began.
